The Difference Between Sativa, Indica and Hybrid Strains

There are two primary cannabis plant families, Sativa and Indica. Sativa strains are known for their energetic, uplifting, and cerebral effects that provide enhanced creativity and energy. Indica strains are known for their effects of physical relaxation helping with sleeping disorders, body pains and general anxiety.

Hybrid strains are a cross between sativa and indica strains. Depending on the mother plant, the strain is either sativa-dominate or indica-dominate. Hybrid strains provide user experiences that can be found in both sativa and indica plants.
